An event entitled "Our flag is a source of pride" that dedicated to "May 28 - Independence Day"

The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and the Ministry of Education jointly organized an event dedicated to "May 28 - Independence Day" entitled "Our flag is a source of pride."
The event, which took place at the Baku Child and Youth Development Center No. 3 under the Ministry of Education, was attended by 30 children with drawing skills, as well as children of martyrs and children from vulnerable groups.
During the master class organized as part of the event, children drew pictures and prepared compositions.
Welcoming the guests, Mrs. Bahar Muradova, Chair of the State Committee congratulated everyone on the 104th anniversary of the establishment of the first democratic republic in the Muslim East - the independent state of Azerbaijan. Looking at our history, the chairman said that after the declaration of the restoration of independence, this independence was established by the policy of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijan has come a long way. She stressed that by continuing this path President Ilham Aliyev led Azerbaijan to development and prosperity, and today we celebrate the Victory in the Great Patriotic War with great pride.
Noting that the Azerbaijani people are a nation that has purposefully achieved its goals, the chairman recalled the great leader's words "Azerbaijan will be born to the world like the sun" and addressed the children: "You will make the future of Azerbaijan brighter like particles of that sun. We will do everything possible. We look at you with great hopes and pride and believe in you. As a youth growing up in this spirit, you will be the guarantor and owner of the future of Azerbaijan."
Mr. Firudin Gurbanov, the Deputy Minister of Education noted that despite living only 23 months, the Republican era has left an indelible mark on our history. He said that today we celebrate our Victory Day and proudly wave our tricolor flag, a symbol of holiness. Speaking about the importance of involving children in such events in the upbringing of the patriotic generation, the Deputy Minister thanked Mrs.Bahar Muradova for the initiative to hold the event.
After the speeches, the participants were presented with incentive certificates and gifts. In the end, members of the center, as well as the vocal group performed various performances.
