The next event was held in Bakikhanov settlement to prevent child marriages and girls from dropping out of school

On April 20, 2022, a meeting was held with the parents of students studying in schools of Bakikhanov, Ramana and Sabunchu settlements of Sabunchu district in cooperation with the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, the Ministry of Education and the Executive Power of Sabunchu district.
The meeting was attended by Mrs. Aynur Sofiyeva, Deputy Chair of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, Mrs. Rena Farajova, Deputy Head of the Sabunchu District Executive Power, Mrs. Gulnara Mammadova, Head of the Family Problems Department of the SCRPA, Mrs. Gunay Gurbanova, Head of the Development Projects Sector of the Baku Education Department, Mrs. Saida Ahmadova, psychologist, Mr. Asif Malikov, Senior Inspector of the Sabunchu District Police Office, Lieutenant-Colonel, heads of educational institutions, executive representatives, mayors and parents attended the event.
During the meeting, parents were informed about the consequences of early marriage and school dropouts in the lives of girls, as well as the existing problems of families were studied and discussed and awareness materials were distributed to the participants of the event.
