By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 2022 has been declared the "Year of Shusha".

For this purpose, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs announces a competition for the best article among young writers and journalists on "Shusha is dear to every Azerbaijani ... Shusha is our national symbol" dedicated to the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev. Essays must be submitted between April 1, 2022, and April 30, 2022, at 18:00.

Those wishing to participate in the competition should send their essays to the e-mail address gender@scfwca.gov.az.

Submissions must be no more than 3 A4 pages in Arial 12 font. Essays can be submitted in Azerbaijani, Russian and English.

Submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by a Jury. The winners of the first 3 places in the competition (1st, 2nd, 3rd places) will be awarded diplomas and prizes by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs.
