The next event within the project “Let's Say NO to Domestic Violence” was held with the participation of students of the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry on March 28, 2022.

The event was held in accordance with paragraph 12.2.6 "Organization of lectures and seminars in higher education and vocational education on the prevention and control of domestic violence" of the "National Action Plan on Combating Domestic Violence in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2020-2023".

The event was addressed by Mr. Ata Babayev, Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Mr. Rafig Mahmudov and Mrs. Samra Aliyeva, employees of the Department of Family Problems of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs.  The students were informed about the nature of domestic violence, types of violence, mechanisms for the rehabilitation of victims and perpetrators of violence, the existing legal framework in our country.

At the same time, the participants were informed about the large-scale measures taken by the State Committee on Domestic Violence, "How should we protect ourselves from domestic violence?" and the film "Affect", dedicated to domestic violence  which was presented at the "Azerbaijan Family" film festival.
