On December 16, 2021, Deputy Chair of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Mrs. Sadagat Gahramanova met with a delegation of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) visiting our country.

Welcoming the guests, the Deputy Chair informed about the gender policy pursued in our country, as well as measures and projects implemented by the State Committee in this direction.

Mr. Farid Ahmad Khan, IDB Country Coordinator and Head of Delegation, praised the work done by the Committee to ensure gender policy and said that Azerbaijan's successful experience could be a positive example for other member countries of the bank.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on cooperation opportunities, as well as made proposals on possible projects.
