On December 3, 2021 Shuvalan, Saatli, Sabirabad, Aghdam, Goygol, Gabala, Hajigabul, Zardab and Goranboy Child and Family Support Centers under the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs held various events in connection with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

The event was attended by representatives of relevant agencies, community members, people with disabilities and their families.

Speakers emphasized the policy pursued by the state in recent years in this area, the state's care and attention to citizens with disabilities. It was also noted that it is necessary to educate the population in this area, it is the duty of every citizen to take care of them.

The Child and Family Support Centers also visited the families of people with disabilities and veterans of the 44-days Great Patriotic War and assessed their needs. Wheelchairs, orthopedic shoes, food and hygiene kits and other gifts were provided according to their needs.
