The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs has been holding Azerbaijani Children's Forums since 2009. With the proclamation of 2009 as the “Year of the Child” by Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, it has become a tradition to hold the Forums, which have been an important event in the lives of children since that year.

National Children's Forums are important in terms of ensuring the participation of children in decision-making on their rights, giving them the opportunity to put forward initiatives and proposals to solve their problems, to draw public attention to the protection of children's rights. The main and distinctive feature of the Forums is that they are run entirely by children. Thus, these Forums are events run by children with the participation of children.

During the meeting, it was noted that President Ilham Aliyev has always paid special attention and care to the protection of children's health, and the protection of their rights is one of the priorities of the Azerbaijani state.

Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, the forum participants stressed that they always felt the care of the state. According to them, the V Republican Forum on Education, Health, Social Protection, Leisure activities, Internet Security, Patriotism is a great opportunity to select children with leadership skills and analytical thinking in the field of children's rights.

During the meeting, Minister Rashad Nabiyev answered the questions of children, had an interesting discussion on values, career choices, ways to succeed and other topics.
