The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family of the Republic of Korea conducted online training for those responsible for increasing women's economic initiative.
In the training program with the participation of four countries (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Ghana and Sri Lanka), the Azerbaijani delegation was represented by Mrs. Sadagat Rahimova, an employee of the Department of Women's Issues and Gender of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs.
The 2-week training focused on gender equality policies and practices in Korea, discussing topics such as understanding and using gender-based tools, women's professional development policies and practices in Korea, women's employment and entrepreneurship support policies in Korea, global gender policy trends / strengthening women in vulnerable situations and gender-based violence.
During the training, the participating countries developed an Action Plan on Strengthening Women's Economic Empowerment, and the document presented by the Azerbaijani delegation was awarded the "Best Action Plan".
