On October 19, 2021, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs held a Twinning project entitled “Strengthening the capacity of government agencies and local guidance mechanisms to ensure the safety and support of victims of domestic violence in Azerbaijan” at the Sabunchu Youth House. International trainings on "Strengthening awareness-raising in the field of procurement" have been launched. The trainings will last until October 22.

It should be noted that the Twinning project is implemented by partner organizations from Lithuania and Austria with the financial support of the European Union. The current participants of the project are employees of the State Committee and Child and Family Support Centers operating under the Committee, members of the monitoring groups on gender-based violence and violence against children under the local executive authorities in Baku.
