The Child and Family Support Centers (CFSC) under the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs regularly promote a healthy lifestyle among the population in the regions, including the prevention of drug, alcoholism and other negative phenomena and prevention of early marriages. The awareness-raising events (trainings, seminars, round tables, surveys, etc.) are also organized in the direction of spiritual upbringing of the younger generation, the formation of personality, family values.

Various departments, organizations and educational institutions, non-governmental organizations located in the regions were closely involved in the organization and holding of the events.

An online webinar on "Prevention of early marriages" was organized by Aghdam CFSC and Barda District Youth and Sports Department.

Speaking at the webinar, Jeyran Ahmadova, an employee of the center, said that the purpose of the event is to protect the health of children during the pandemic, to educate the population to prevent early marriage. In her speech, Ahmadova gave examples of cases of early marriages carried out by employees of the center.

Awareness-raising booklets on "Let's say no to early marriage for the sake of a healthy life" organized by Hajigabul CFSC were distributed to the residents of the district.

During the presentation of the booklets, citizens were informed about early marriage and its consequences. It was noted that early marriages result in adolescents dropping out of school. The fact that the age of the parties to early marriage is lower than the age limit for a formal marriage leads to a number of problems in the family in the future, including divorce, the birth of sick children, domestic violence, physical and psychological difficulties, and other negative factors.

Employees of CFSCs, beneficiaries and volunteers of the centers took an active part in the events dedicated to the fight against drugs by Shuvalan, Agdam, Hajigabul CFSC. At the same time, booklets "Let's say no to drugs" were distributed among residents. The booklets describe in detail the damage caused by drugs to human health and their consequences.

An event entitled "Let's learn the rules of proper behavior with hyperactive children" was organized by Goranboy CFSC in the orphanage-kindergarten No. 3. The event was attended by CFSC staff, volunteers and kindergarten teachers. During the event, the rules of behavior with children, especially hyperactive children were discussed. The center also held an event to prevent suicides among young people.

A training on "How to protect against violence" was held for children at Shuvalan CFSC. During the training, children were informed about the violence and its types, ways to prevent violence.

The interactive training was attended by children from at-risk families from the community. During the training, the children shared their views.

It should be noted that the participants welcomed the awareness-raising events held by the centers to build a healthy society.
