The participants first visited the Nizami Mausoleum and the Nizami Ganjavi Museum during the walk dedicated to the 880th anniversary of the great poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi. The children were given detailed information about the rich literary heritage of the great poet.
It was noted that Nizami Ganjavi is the author of the poems "Treasure of Secrets", "Khosrov and Shirin", "Leyli and Majnun", "Seven beauties", "Iskendername", known as "Khamsa" ("Five"). After Nizami Ganjavi, many great poets of the Western world wrote “Khamsa” under his influence.
Then the children visited the area of the Ganja terrorist attack committed by Armenia in October 2020. The children were informed that the Armenian armed forces deliberately targeted the civilian population of Azerbaijan and fired on the settlements with heavy artillery violating the norms and principles of international law.
The visit to Ganja, the second-largest city in Azerbaijan made a great impression on the children. They shared their thoughts with each other and took photos together.
