Community Resource Centers have been opened in Tartar and Agjabadi regions

The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and the United Nations Development Program jointly organized the opening ceremony of Community Resource Centers in Tartar and Agjabadi districts on April 22, 2021.
The ceremony was attended by Mrs. Sadagat Gahramanova, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, Mr. Mustaqim Mammadov, the Head of the Executive Power of Tartar Region and Mr. Rafil Huseynov, Head of the Executive Power of Agjabadi Region, Mr. Alessandro Fracassetti, UNDP Resident Representative and others.
Welcoming the guests, Mrs.Sadagat Gahramanova, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee congratulated the participants on the opening of the centers. She expressed confidence that these centers will play an important role in supporting community members, including families affected by the war and their reintegration into society.
Mr. Alessandro Fracassetti, UNDP Resident Representative stressed that the projects implemented jointly with the Government of Azerbaijan and a number of international partners always focus on vulnerable groups. He said the opening of the centers, especially in Tartar and Agjabadi districts, aims to support and rehabilitate the citizens affected from the war.
It should be noted that the Community Resource Centers established within the project "Early recovery of the most vulnerable groups of the population and ensuring community resilience in Fizuli-Horadiz, Agjabadi, and Tartar regions of Azerbaijan" project aims to identify the most important needs of affected communities, including women, children, and persons with disabilities and to provide their socio-economic rehabilitation.
