The 3-days professional development trainings for social workers and psychologists have come to end

Trainings for the social workers and psychologists working in women and children's shelters in case of emergency, special situation and pandemic, organized by the State Committee on Family, Women and Children and the American Council for International Education were continued on April 19-21, 2021.
Mrs. Zulfiya Sadigov, Chief Adviser of the Department for Work with Regional Centers of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs held training on affecting children's mental health, organization of psychological work during traumatic stress, forms and consequences of negative attitude towards children, domestic violence, sexual violence, points to be considered when consulting children, some techniques used to manage emotions and behavior in children, the protection of mental health of psychologists working in the shelter.
Mrs. Maftuna Ismayilova, an employee of the Social Services Agency, also conducted trainings for social workers on social work and social welfare, child protection and assessment of children exposed to violence, as well as social and psychological assistance in emergencies, and answered questions.
Participants who successfully completed the training were awarded certificates by the State Committee and the American Council for International Education.
