A preliminary meeting of the working group established for the implementation  of the "Action Plan for 2020-2025 on the implementation of the Strategy for Children " was held with the participation of 17 organizations on April 6, 2021.

Opening the event, Mrs. Aynur Sofiyeva, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs noted the importance of coordinated activities of government agencies in achieving effective results in the implementation of paragraph 4 of the Action Plan. She also informed about the measures taken to ensure the implementation of the document, the documents prepared in terms of improving the legal basis.

Then the members of the working group shared their views on the measures to be taken in 2021 to implement the Action Plan, expressed their views and suggestions.

The "Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy for Children for 2020-2025" was approved in order to ensure the implementation of the "Strategy of The Republic of Azerbaijan for Children 2020-2030" approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated November 27, 2020  

The State Committee prepares reports on the implementation of a number of measures considered under the Action Plan. For the successful implementation of item 4 of the Action Plan, the coordinating state body established a working group to improve the legal basis and institutional structure in the field of child protection.
