On March 15, the ceremony of opening of the Women`s Resource Center was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Goychay district. Representatives of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Problems, Goychay District Executive Authority and  German Organization for International Cooperation (GIZ) attended the opening ceremony. 

It should be noted that the center was established within the framework of project to "Support women's employment and micro-entrepreneurship in Goychay ​region and the establishment of Resource Center for Women", which was implemented in September 2020 with the support of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs and GIZ.

The Chairperson of the State Committee Mrs.Bahar Muradova, Head of Executive Power of Goychay region Mehdi Salimzadeh,  GIZ Director for Azerbaijan Karin Hurgan congratulated the participants of the event on the opening of the Center.

During the meeting, the women who benefited from the project talked about their business successes due to the support they received from the project. 

In addition, the participants visited the Alley of martyrs to honor the memory of our soldiers who have fallen for their homeland. Also, according to the Committee's work plan for 2021, 162  families  ( martyrs, veterans, low-income families and single women) from Goychay district were presented with holiday gifts.
