Women's resource center opened in Goychay region

On 15 March 2021, the opening ceremony of the Women's Resource Center was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Goychay region with the participation of representatives of the State Committee of Family, Women and Children Affairs, the Goychay Region Executive Power and the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ).
It should be noted that the Center was created within the framework of the project "Support for the employment of women and micro-entrepreneurship in Goychay region and the creation of a resource center for women", which was implemented in September 2020 with the support of the State Committee and GIZ.
Chairperson of the State Committee Bahar Muradova, head of the Goychay region executive power Mehdi Salimzadeh, GIZ director for Azerbaijan Karin Khurgan congratulated the participants on the opening of the Center.
During the meeting, Aysel Fatullaeva, Nargiz Samadova and Ainur Askerova, who benefited from the project, talked about their successes thanks to their support, and that they can develop their business in the future.
In addition, the participants visited the Martyrs' Alley to honor the memory of our sons who died for their Motherland. Also, according to the work plan of the Committee for 2021, 162 families (martyrs, veterans, low-income families and single women) from Goychay region were presented with holiday gifts.
