With the joint cooperation of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, the Public Union "For a Healthy Life" and with the financial support of British Petroleum, the establishment of a Community Family Support Club in order to support women's employment and micro-entrepreneurship in Tovuz region from 2020 Project is being implemented.
Within the framework of the project, 22 women in Tovuz region were provided with non-monetary financial support to start a business and strengthen existing businesses last year, and women were provided with equipment in accordance with the business plan.
Starting in 2021, the project will continue to support the employment of women from vulnerable groups (families of martyrs and war veterans) and micro-entrepreneurship.
“Self-presentation skills”, “Leadership development”, “Gender equality and human rights”, “Early marriage and domestic violence”, “Financial literacy”, “Family budget” for women selected to support employment in January 2021 Management ”,“ Business Organization and Management ” trainings were held. 35 people took part in the trainings.
Sevinj Mammadova, Senior Adviser of the Department of Women's problems and Gender Issues of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children, Sadagat Huseynova, Chairperson of the Public Union "For a Healthy Life" and expert Habil Niftali participated as trainers and made presentations to inform women on relevant topics.
