The State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Affairs continues to assist the families of martyrs and veterans of the Patriotic War.

The Child and Family Support Centers of Zagatala, Goygol, and Shuvelan districts, operating under the Committee, meet regularly with the families of martyrs and veterans, inquire their problems and study the difficulties they face.

Psychologists and social workers of the centers continue to work with each family member to improve their psychosocial situation. The families affected by the war were provided with food assistance and support to deal with health problems.
