An information about a mother living in Yasamal district who threw her children born in 2017 and 2019, out of the window of her bedroom of the apartment on the 4th floor of their building with a short time sequence, and then tried to commit suicide by throwing herself from the same place is reflected in the mass media.

The issue was immediately taken under control by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs. The Yasamal District Prosecutor's Office and the local executive power were contacted and the family's condition was investigated and it was found out that the eldest son of the family was at home at the time of the incident. Today, a meeting was held with the minor and his father with the participation of a responsible employee of the Committee and a psychologist from the Center for Social Rehabilitation of Children and Youth Victims of Violence of the Public Union of Hopeful Future Social Initiatives. As a result of the meeting, it was concluded that the minor needs to undergo psychological rehabilitation for some time, and the sustainability of this activity will be ensured.

The Committee is keeping the issue under control.
