The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, with the support of the German Organization for International Cooperation (GIZ), has been implementing a project to support women's employment and micro-entrepreneurship in Goychay since September 2020 and establish a Women's Resource Center.

The aim of the project is to involve women living in rural and district areas in entrepreneurship, develop micro-entrepreneurship among them,  expand economic opportunities  for increasing knowledge, skills and employment.

Within the framework of the project, several meetings were held for the women of Goychay  district with the participation of the Goychay District Executive Power in September-October.

Preference was given to women from vulnerable families. Self-presentation skills”, “Leadership development”, “Gender equality and human rights”, “Early marriage and domestic violence”, “Financial literacy”, “Family budget management”, “ Business organization and management” trainings were held for 30 women and girls.
