On December 1, 2020, a new hotline on gender-based violence was opened in Azerbaijan.
The number of the hotline for victims of gender-based violence, in particular for women and girls subjected to violence is 860.
The hotline can be contacted directly by calling 860 from Baku, and 012 860 from mobile numbers and regions of the country.
Hotline callers can get information about gender and domestic violence and get free legal and psychological counseling if needed.
The 860 hotline was launched in cooperation with the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs and the UN Population Fund.
