The Chairperson of the State Committee met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Azerbaijan

On September 16, 2020, a meeting was held between the Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Mrs.Bahar Muradova and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Azerbaijan Mrs.Go Min.
Greeting the guests, the Chairperson of the State Committee Mrs.Bahar Muradova emphasized the constantly growing bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and China and noted that diplomatic, economic and humanitarian relations between the two countries are successfully continuing.
In her speech, Mrs.Muradova stressed the difficulties caused by the current COVID-19 pandemic, noting that this disaster has led to human casualties, economic recession, and psychological stress. Mrs. Muradova emphasized that Azerbaijan was one of the first countries which took concrete steps to unite international efforts in combating the pandemic.
Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Azerbaijan Mrs. Go Min mentioned China's assistance to Azerbaijan in connection with the pandemic. In her speech, the Ambassador underlined important measures taken in Azerbaijan in the sphere of family, women and children, noting that President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mrs.Mehriban Aliyeva always pay attention to this field.
At the end of the meeting, Mrs.Go Min presented 10,000 masks to the Committee on behalf of the Chinese government for distribution to children.
The Chairperson of the Committee thanked for the assistance and noted that the gifts would be delivered to their addresses in the near future.
