An online conference was held on 13 July 2020 by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Affairs in connection with Cabinet of Ministers Decision No. 213 of 23 June 2020 on the "Rules for raising awareness among young people on the importance of the family and marriage, its protection and strengthening, and the negative consequences of early and relative marriages". Representatives of the relevant institutions carrying out activities in accordance with the rules and regulations were present at the online conference.
The Chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Mrs. Bahar Muradova noted the urgency of the problem and emphasized that there are many negative consequences of early and relative marriages,such as hereditary diseases and other problems.Therefore, the rules approved by the Cabinet of Ministers are very important in preventing these problems.

Later, the Chairman of the State Committee on Religious Associations (SCRA)Mubariz Gurbanli said that  the country's mosques have only officially appointed clergymen who know that it is illegal to form a religious marriage without an official one.

The Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan ,Mahabbat Valiyeva highlighted the projects and activities implemented  by the Ministry of Education to raise awareness and further actions to be taken in accordance with the new document.

The Chairman of the Council on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan- Azay Guliyev, The Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Ministry- Anar Karimov,  The Deputy Chairman of the State Statistics Committee-Rauf Salimov,  Head of the Civil Status Acts Registration Agency of the Ministry of Justice- Reyhana  Karimova ,the Deputy Executive Director of the Youth Foundation- Gadir Khalilov, Head of the Department for Coordination of Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health- Sabina Babayeva, the chairman of the Constitution Research Foundation- Alimammad Nuriyev, the authorized representative of the Caucasian Muslims Office and Icheri SheherJuma Mosque- Haji SurkhayMammadli, Fazil Novruzov, the acting head of the National Television and Radio Council – Fazil Novruzov expressed their views and offered suggestions on the topic.
