Libraries offer welcoming spaces for families to build relationships, social networks, and parent-child relationships. 

The jointly project of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, the Knowledge Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan focused on engaging families in public libraries had been launched in the end of this year. This project highlights the important roles libraries can play for families as learning spaces.

Also it is planned to create the Family Clubs to develop and institutionalize a family friendly environment.

The presentation of the project will be will be held at the National Library of Azerbaijan named after M.F.Akhundov on November 15, 2018 at 16:00.
