"The benefits of breastfeeding for children"

The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs permanently carries out various large-scale projects dedicated to the protection of children rights. aimed on education of in the cities and regions of our Republic. Within the framework of the projects, reports of experts on various actual topics are being discussed.
The next event within the project was held on October 4, 2018 at the Baku College of Management and Technology for girls-students of this college. The event was held on the topic "Benefits of breastfeeding children" in accordance with Article 4.7.2 of the State Program on Maternal and Child Health Improvement. The Conference had been organized by participation of representatives of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and the Ministry of Health as well as relevant audience.
The event was opened by the director of the College Faig Shahbazli. He thanked the organizers and also noted that holding such kind of educational events has already become a tradition at the College, and College's teaching staff has always been interested in discussions on social issues.
Later, Gulnara Mammadova, Head of the Family Problems Department of the State Committee briefed the event participants about the family policy implemented by the Committee in our country. Referring to topics such as early marriages, complications of marriages between blood relatives, medical examination before marriage.
Afterwards doctor-methodologist of the Center for Public Health and Reforms of the Ministry of Health Shahla Mirzazadeh made a presentation entitled "The importance of breastfeeding promotion". During the speech S.Mirzazadeh informed students about the benefits of breastfeeding, complications caused by the use of breast milk, positive effects of breastfeeding on the future of infants.
After the speeches, the shortcuts films "The Key to Happiness" and "The Family is a Tree" represented to the film festival held by the State Committee were demonstrated to the participants of the event.
At the end, questions were answered by the experts, and the College Library was provided with booklets prepared by the State Committee and the Ministry of Health
