On 26 October, 2015 the event entitled “Drugs or Life” was co-organized by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and Ministry of Education at school No. 6 in Sabail district.

Gulshan Orujova, Principal of the school, made an opening speech and stressed the importance of the event dedicated to drugs.

Then Aynur Sofiyeva, Deputy-chairperson of the SCFWCA talked about the vital measures taken by the government against illicit trafficking of drugs, psychotropic substances, as well as mentioned the child issues as priority issues of state and emphasized the importance of recreational time for children organized by the government.

Vasif Guliyev, Deputy-head of the Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illicit Drug Trafficking, Adigozal Adigozalov, Head of the department of the Chief Public Security Office and Elnur Alizade, senior consultant of the Department on work with education and extracurricular institutions of Ministry of Education made a speech on negative impacts of drugs to our society, state, generally humankind. Drug addiction which is going to be younger without any age limit is one of the serious threats against gene pool.

Moreover, Rauf Ibrahimov, president of East hand-to-hand fighting Club and Heydar Mammadli, member of the “Future” Support to the Development of Children Public Union and 11th grade student of “Zangi” lyceum expressed their ideas about the topic.

“Game with life” social sketch was demonstrated with the participation of the actors of the Baku Child Theatre and “Drugs or Life” leaflets were disseminated within the event.
