New Year's celebration in Zira Cultural Center.

On 22 December in Zira Cultural Center, the IDEA Public Union in conjunction with the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs organized a New Year's celebration for children in need of special care, children deprived of parental care, children from refugee and IDP families and children with disabilities .
Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union Leyla Aliyeva attended the festivity.
It is important to note that children who attend to festivity were the participants of the 4th National Forum of Azerbaijani Children organized on 20 November,and co-organized by the State Committee for Family, Woman and Children Affairs, Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and UN’s Children Fund.
During the meeting, children were informed about the Resource Center housed in the Zira Cultural Center. Then children toured an eco-park of the center.
In order to attract children to the protection of green plantations, the formation of feelings of love and care for nature in the early years,in the framework of the event, trees and flower bushes were planted in the courtyard of the Center.
Subsequently, to draw attention of the importance of environmental protection, a “Bird Paradise - Aghgol National Park” documentary from the series of “9 Wonders of Azerbaijan” was screened.
New Year gifts were presented to the children by IDEA Public Union.
It is also important to note that the IDEA Public Union,and the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs attaches importance to achieve the Goals of UN for the sustainable development till 2030, in the field of ensuring the rights and the interests of children and also their work in the field of education of children, and promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
