The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs jointly with the United Nations Population Fund conducts training within the project "Combating gender-based violence" with the participation of prof. Ayshe Akin and psychologist Ezgi Turkcheli, trainers from Bukcham staff of Bashkent University of the Republic of Turkey. The training which is being held on 14-17 November in Mingachevir city is dedicated to improvement of skills of experts working with victims of gender-based violence. This event attended also by the staff of the Committee and Family and Children Support Centers under its supervision, and focused on provision of information about main reasons of gender-based violence, its impacts, current situation in the related field in Azerbaijan and worldwide, legislative base and international legal acts.  At the end of the training the participants was awarded with certificates.
