In  September 2013 the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs in cooperation with the Trade Unions Confederation of the Republic of Azerbaijan launched the project under the title “The role of modern family in development of Society” carried out in the cities and regions of the Republic and   focused on awareness raising of members of Confederation in the field of  solving  family problems, researching the   influence of family problems on the work process  and problems of  those who have  family duties ,  increasing   public control.

The purpose of the project is to raise awareness of the members of these organizations through the mediation of 26 members organizations of Confederation in the field of sociological state of Azerbaijani families, the means influenced on psychological atmosphere of the family (influence of internal relations between the members of family on the process of work and vice verse), to provide legal awareness, to increase public control , to distribute booklets published by the Committee among participants.

The next event in the framework of the regional project will be held on 13 June 2014 at 11.00 in Shemakha in the conference hall of Heydar Aliyev Center with the participation of members of Trade Unions of Shemakha, Agsu, Agdash, Geokchay and Qobustan.
