On February 6, 2023, Aynur Sofiyeva, the Deputy Chair of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, met with the members of the Assembly of Children's Ambassadors under the Committee.
Greeting the children, Aynur Sofiyeva assessed the activity of the Majlis as a positive experience both in the country and the world, and pointed out that it also places additional responsibility on them. A. Sofiyeva emphasized that this successful experience was also mentioned during the hearing of the fifth and sixth joint periodic reports of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The Deputy Chair emphasized that the great leader was sensitive to the provision of children's rights, laid the foundation of the state children's policy and chose it as a priority direction. Speaking about the projects to be implemented within the Heydar Aliyev year, the Deputy Chair expressed hope that these projects will be successfully implemented together with the members of the Assembly.
In the end, A. Sofiyeva voiced her recommendations to the children and noted the importance of constantly developing and moving forward with common sense in order to keep up with new trends in the rapidly changing world.
At the meeting attended by the new representatives of the Assembly of Children's Ambassadors for general education institutions, the 6-month event plan for the current year, and proposals related to projects were discussed.
