The great leader Heydar Aliyev, who laid the foundation of the state youth policy, saw the bright future of Azerbaijan in the youth, and always felt his care and love for them. On the initiative of the national leader, the Ministry of Youth and Sports was established in 1994, the first forum of Azerbaijani youth was held in 1996, and the establishment of Youth Day served as a basis for the formation of a successful youth policy in the first years of our independence.

Today, the wide opportunities created for young people in Azerbaijan determine their formation as successful, intellectual and comprehensively developing citizens. Our youth actively participates in all spheres of the country's life, participates in important processes, influences the happenings and plays a decisive role.

It is not by chance that every young man who has a love for the Motherland in his heart and is ready to give his life for it, united as a fist with a sense of trust in the Commander-in-Chief, stepped on the path of Victory. Today, this bright youth is building our future by enthusiastically joining the great return movement in the lands liberated from occupation.
