Bahar Muradova participated at the First International Congress for Women of Influence

The Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Mrs. Bahar Muradova attended the "First International Congress for Women of Influence" in Tehran city of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Speaking at the event initiated by First Lady of the Republic of Iran Jamila Alamolkoda, the Chairperson of the State Committee welcomed everyone on behalf of the Azerbaijani government and expressed pleasure at taking part in such a prestigious event.
The Chairperson of the State Committee noted that the existing historical, cultural and religious partnerships between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Iran form the basis of relations between the two countries.
Stressing that the Government of Azerbaijan attaches particular importance to the fulfilment of international obligations in promoting and ensuring women's rights, B. Muradova underlined the improvement of existing tools and national mechanisms in this area.
The Chairperson mentioned the huge contribution made by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva in demonstration of the high intellectual, organizational and humanitarian potential of women, including her support to programmes contributing to their social status in the society.
At the end of her speech, the Chairperson of the Committee thanked the organisers and wished success to the work of the Congress.
