According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 25 December 2019, 28 December is annually celebrated as a professional holiday "Lawyer's Day".

On this occasion, we congratulate all lawyers working in the legal profession in Azerbaijan on their professional holiday and wish them success in their activities to protect rights and freedoms in our country!

Within the framework of its activity the State Committee always attaches great importance to close cooperation with lawyers. The memorandum signed in 2019 between the State Committee, Azerbaijani Bar Association and the UN Office in Azerbaijan "On Legal Assistance to Victims of Domestic Violence", which creates conditions to ensure the rights of victims of domestic violence, is a clear example of this cooperation.
