The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs continues a large scale awareness raising project under the title “ I’m choosing the life!”  within the  Ministry of Education. The next event within the project was held on 6 April, 2017 in  school N 258 of Narimanov district with the participation of teachers, schoolchildren of 7-9 class forms and parents.

The event was held in two classrooms. In classroom for parents and teachers, the event was opened by the head of the Family department of the Committee Gulnara Mammadova. She mentioned the successful state policy in directions of family, women and children, and stressed the permanent projects hold by the Committee in this 3 directions. Her speech covered actual problems such as combating harmful habits, internet safety, reproductive health, protection from family conflicts, teachers-parents interrelation.  The legal questions given by the participants were answered by head advisor of family problems department of the Committee Rafiq Mahmoudov.

In the second classroom for children which was held for school children of 7-9 class forms, the chief adviser of the department on Family problems of the Committee Samra Aliyeva and advisor of this department Azer Isali made a presentation focused on solving psychological problems of teenagers , safety of internet and other topics.

Besides at the event the films from the “Azerbaijan family” film festival were shown to participants and the published material prepared by the Committee were distributed to them.
