Shelter residents were trained on information security

On September 9, 2022, the employees of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs conducted educational training for women and children living in the shelter "Clean World" Women's Aid Public Union.
In the training organized for the purpose of increasing knowledge and skills in the field of information security, shelter residents were informed about cyber security, privacy, protection of personal data, legal regulation in this area, correct password selection and ability to select spam messages.
Taking into account that every movement of people on the Internet is followed, the importance of not using passwords reflecting personal information and not linking to suspicious and viral links was emphasized.
The little inhabitants of the shelter were given detailed information about the beneficial and harmful effects of Internet resources, methods of protection against dangers and risks arising on the Internet, the importance of consulting parents and teachers in this regard, and the rules for using strong passwords to protect personal information.
The trainings were conducted by Sevil Rasulzade and Gays Agalarov, employees of the Department of Information and Analytical Research of the State Committee.
In the framework of the training, informative booklets prepared by the State Committee were presented to the participants.
