The delegation headed by the Minister of Family and Social Services of Turkey, Mrs. Derya Yanik, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, today visited the cultural capital- Shusha. 

Together with the Chairperson of the State Committee, Mrs.Bahar Muradova, the Turkish guests visited the Merdinli mosque in Fizuli for the first time and witnessed the destruction of the mosque by Armenian invaders.

Then guests visited the Fizuli International Airport, which meets all modern and international standards.

The visit continued by acquainting the delegation with the history and plans for further development of the city of Shusha.

At the same time, the monuments of Uzeyir Hajibayli, Khurshudbanu Natavan, house-museum of Bulbul and Dzhidyr duzu were visited by delegation.

The guests expressed great satisfaction with their stay in Shusha, which has a magnificent landscape.

During the visit, the guests especially noted the speed and quality of reconstruction and construction work carried out in Shusha and in the territories liberated from occupation.  They also paid tribute to the memory of the heroes who died in the Patriotic War.
