Joint training was held on behavior with victims of domestic violence

Joint training on combating domestic violence, as well as dealing with victims of domestic violence was held on 31 May-4 June within the framework of the Twinning Project on “Strengthening the capacity of the State Bodies and local level referral mechanisms to provide safety and support to the victims of domestic violence”.
The training was conducted by experts from Lithuania and Austria on the concept of "Training of Trainers". The training was attended by law enforcement agencies, as well as Child and Family Support Centers, Women's Resource Centers, secondary school teachers and psychologists operating under the State Committee.
The main topic of the training was the indicators of domestic violence and risk assessment criteria developed by Twinning project experts in accordance with the best European practices. These criteria will enable mentioned institutions to structure and prioritize measures taken to provide assistance to victims of domestic violence, as well as to increase accountability and transparency.
