On February 23, 2021, a meeting was held with members of the new Public Council under the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs.

At first, the Deputy Сhairperson of the State Committee and Сhairperson of the Public Council Election Commission Mrs. Sadagat Gahramanova reported on the results of the elections. Then the main issues of the agenda were discussed. 

In accordance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Public Participation", voting was held among the members of the Council for the election of the Chairperson of the Council, its deputies, and the Secretary of the Council.

As a result of the elections, Sahib Mammadov, head of Citizen's Labor Rights Protection League was elected the Chairman of the Council, Mehriban Zeynalova  (“Clean World” Aid to Women and Children Public Union), and Rahila Mehtiyeva, (Socio-Economic and Environmental Development Public Union) were elected as deputy chairpersons, and Kamala Ashumova (“Reliable Future” Youth Public Union) was elected as the Secretary of the Council for a 2-years term.
