As is known, 2020 was announced by the President ofthe Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev as the Year of Volunteers. In its turn,the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs supported this initiativeand started the "Family Volunteers" project.

The main goal of the project is to promote nationaland spiritual values, healthy lifestyle, strong family model, dissemination ofpositive life examples and stories by sharing knowledge and experience throughvarious means of communication and mechanisms of communication.

The project also aims to provide social, psychologicaland moral support to vulnerable groups, including low-income families and youngfamilies.

It is encouraging that families from different regionsof Azerbaijan joined this project with great enthusiasm. We would like to introduce you to the volunteerfamilies involved in the “Family Volunteers” project and their work during thepandemic.
