The bill "On the Azerbaijani state budget for 2020" was discussed at a joint meeting of committees of the Azerbaijani parliament.Alongside committee chairpersons and deputies of Azerbaijani Parliament and  representatives of relevant bodies,   Mrs. Hijran Huseynova, the chair of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Republic of Azerbaijan also attended the meeting. 

The Chair of the Committee Mrs. Huseynova stressed in her speech that addressing social issues and strengthening social protection of citizens are always in the spotlight as part of the political course led by President Ilham Aliyev. At the same time, improvement of living standards, construction of new social facilities are among of the priorities of social policy pursued by our state.

Mrs. Huseynova stressed the need to strengthen services in the field of social protection of vulnerable families in the regions, in prevention of early marriages and cases of violence against women. Also the Chairperson of the Committee made a proposal to include to the bill of the State Budget the issues regarding the creation of state aid centers, creation of  child hotlines and Institute of Family Psychologist and  improving systems of  care for children with special needs.
