As press service was informed, after the successful completion of the program, students of the UFC were enrolled in the selected universities of the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, and Canada to pursue their bachelor's and master's degrees.

Bela Jalilova, Director of the University Foundation Centre, opened the ceremony with the her influential speech. In her speech, Mrs. Jalilova noted the success of the 5-year course done by the educational centre, as well as noted the importance and significance of the results achieved by the students and teachers of the Foundation program in the English, French and German departments. Moreover, the activities and upcoming plans of the UFC were also kindly shared. The head of the UFC, in her speech, noted that education in France and Germany would be chargeless, while for universities in the UK and Canada, distinguished students were awarded the maximum scholarships.

Among the distinguished guests at UFC there were Chairman of the State Committee of Azerbaijan for Family, Women and Children Hijran Huseynova, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Azerbaijan on Family, Women and Children Aynur Sofiyeva, Deputy Minister of Education Firudin Gurbanov, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Education Office Yagub Piriyev, Vice-President SOCAR President Khalik Mammadov and Vice President of BP in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey Bakhtiyar Aslanbeyli.

The ceremony was also attended by diplomats accredited in Azerbaijan, in particular, the Ambassadors of France, Britain, Romania, the Council of the French Embassy, ​​the Cultural Advisor of the French Embassy, ​​the Council of the Italian Embassy, ​​the Director of the British Council in Azerbaijan Summer Xia, the Deputy Director Nigar Baimova, the Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction Gulchohra Mamedova, the Rector of Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry Mustafa Babanly, Director of the French-Azerbaijan University ( UFAZ) Vazeh Askerov, Deputy Director of UFAZ Charlotte Payen, Director of the French Lyceum at UFAZ Philippe Ciro, Vice-Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University Isa Khalilov, Vice Rector of Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction Nargiz Abdullayeva and Head of Psychology Department of Baku State University, Professor Kamilia Aliyeva.

The author and the director of the international Foundation program, Keith Broomer (United Kingdom), was the guest of honour at the University Foundation Centre students award ceremony.

It should be noted that the UFC is the only centre in Azerbaijan that prepares and sends students to vocational Lyceum of Hotel Business Management and Tourism Saint-Quentin-En-Yvelines, located near Versailles, to study for no charge in France. This project is carried out according to the agreement between the UFC and Saint-Quentin Lyceum. This year, four more cooks will head to France for the purpose of studies.  They will join the other students from Azerbaijan, who are already studying at this lyceum.

During the awards ceremony for graduates of the UFC Foundation, the co-founder of the UFC, holder of the Legion of Honour, Reyhan Huseynova, presented honorary diplomas and commemorative medals in honor of the end of diplomatic missions in our country. Thus, Her Excellency Aurelia Bouchez, Ambassador to France in Azerbaijan and Her Excellency Ambassador to United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Azerbaijan Carol Croft were decorated the medals for their fruitful cooperation and full support of Azerbaijani students in France and Ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan. Also, a memorable diploma was presented to the Cultural Advisor of the French embassy in our country, Johan Shitterer (Please check the name).

The international certificates such as TCF / DELF, ÖSD TESTDAF, GOETHE, IELTS received by UFC graduates prove their successful completion of academic course in French, English and German languages.

Meanwhile, UFC graduates received high scores in such subjects as Study Skills, Mathematics, Business Fundamentals, Economics, Physics, History, Psychology and Information Technologies.

A distinctive feature of the Foundation program in the UFC is the presence of highly qualified teachers - native speakers from countries such as the UK, France and Italy, which make it easier to adapt at first in the country of their future studies. In addition, each of the University Foundation Centre students, as part of their course, received preliminary training in a future specialty, depending on the selected faculties at universities in the UK, Canada, Italy and France.

The University Foundation Centre has direct agreements with various universities in the countries listed above, which allows Foundation graduates to avoid a complicated enrolment process.

Without leaving Azerbaijan, students of the Foundation program are taught all the necessary modules for admission to overseas universities to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in various fields of studies.
