"Say NO to damaging habits and stick to your health goals!"

Since 2018, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, Ministry of Health jointly with the Ministry of Education, holds permanently events in direction of promotion of healthy lifestyle among young people and adolescents in the cities and districts of our Republic, promoting healthy lifestyle (bad complications of drug addiction, alcoholism, tobacco products ), and to educate young people in strengthening the fight against AIDS, prevention of thalassemia and non-infectious diseases, reproductive health and family planning.
On February 22, 2019 an event titled "Say NO to damaging habits and stick to your health goals" was held in Baku Vocational School Educational Center of Aviation and Transport School No. 6.
The event was opened by Farhad Ismayilov, Deputy Director of the Vocational School. He welcomed the event participants and thanked the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and the Ministry of Health for the organization of the event and underlined the importance of holding the event.
Kamila Aliyeva, deputy head of the Family Problems Department of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, talked about the work done in the direction of education of young generation of habits of healthy lifestyle, also she stressed that our republic has all necessary conditions to promote physical and mental healthy lifestyle for young generation.
Atter, the doctor-methodologist of the Public Health Reform Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Lathafat Dadashova delivered a presentation on theme " Let's say NO to damaging habits for a healthy lifestyle!"and gave detailed information on the complications of harmful habits and essential components of healthy lifestyle.
Later discussions were held on the subject, and questions of the students of the vocational school were answered.
