On December 31, 2025, a festive celebration was held at the “Hold My Hand” Social Rehabilitation Center for Children on the occasion of December 31 – the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year, organized and initiated by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs.

Ms. Leyla Aliyeva Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Ms. Arzu Aliyeva, Head of Baku Media Center took part in the event. The celebration was held in a joyful and festive atmosphere for the children. Within the program featuring Father Frost and Snow Maiden, the children recited poems, performed songs, presented various artistic compositions, and shared their holiday joy.

Ms. Leyla and Ms. Arzu Aliyeva got acquainted with the conditions created at the center, took interest in the social and psychological environment formed for children, as well as in the rehabilitation and development-oriented service models. They received detailed information about the center’s activities, communicated sincerely with the children, learned about their wishes and dreams, and shared in their festive spirit.

Ms. Bahar Muradova, the Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs provided information about the main areas of the center’s activity. It was noted that the “Hold My Hand” Social Rehabilitation Center for Children operates to ensure the rehabilitation, social adaptation, and integration into society of children in difficult life situations, those deprived of parental care, and those belonging to risk groups in a safe, healthy, and caring environment. It was emphasized that strengthening children’s psychosocial well-being and preparing them for an independent future life are among the center’s key priorities.
