The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs attaches great importance to studying international best practices and introducing advanced methodologies in Azerbaijan.

As part of its efforts to expand cooperation with partner countries, the Committee's staff undertook another study visit to the People's Republic of China (PRC).

A five-member delegation from the State Committee participated in four international training programmes held in China during May–June 2026, each focusing on a different thematic area.

During the visit, the participants explored China's advanced experience and innovative approaches in such fields as digital transformation, the role of artificial intelligence in public administration, digital government development, smart city platforms, information security, the promotion of women's leadership in technology, the enhancement of women's digital skills, women's socio-economic empowerment, and other related areas.

The programmes, which also brought together sectoral experts from various countries, provided a valuable platform for discussions on the effective implementation of family, women's and children's policies in the digital era.

At the opening and closing ceremonies of the seminars, representatives of the State Committee delivered comprehensive presentations highlighting Azerbaijan's experience. The country presentation covered ongoing reforms in digital transformation, the development of e-government services, cybersecurity initiatives, achievements in the digitalisation of public services, and projects aimed at strengthening women's digital skills.

As part of the technical visits and experience-sharing activities, which formed an integral component of the seminars, participants visited leading Chinese technology and innovation institutions, gaining first-hand insight into modern approaches to digital transformation and innovation.

Upon successfully completing the training programmes, the participants were awarded international certificates.
