Every year the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs organizes succession events on the occasion of 1st June- International Children’s Day. Participation of the children deprived of parental care, limited health opportunity, from other nationalities, as well as children of refugee and internally displaced families is especially intended.

In this regard, within the events which held between 20 May and 1 June, on 26 May, 2014 the Committee organized an excursion to the “Gala” State Historical and Ethnographic Reserve for the children who suffered from diabetes mellitus together with Azerbaijani Diabetes League. The main purposes of the field trip are to organize the recreational time of children suffered from diabetes mellitus, likewise acquaint children with “Gala” State Historical and Ethnographic Reserve. Moreover, show them antiquity and abundance of Azerbaijani history.

During the excursion children provided with food, presented various gifts as well.
