Mrs. Rafiga Aliyeva, a well-known and Honored scientist of the Republic, full member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, has left a unique mark in the direction of chemistry of Azerbaijani science. She devoted her whole life, strength, knowledge and skills to the development of chemical science and the training of highly qualified personnel in this field.

Environmental protection with the development of chemistry was an important direction in the activities of Mrs. Rafiga Aliyeva, who contributed to the sustainable development of our country with her work related to the current problems of ecology.

Mrs. Rafiga Aliyeva, the author of more than 450 scientific works, 25 textbooks and teaching aids, 20 patents, was a member of a number of scientific councils and societies, and under her leadership, 2 doctors of science and 20 doctors of philosophy were prepared.

The scientist has always been distinguished by her activity in the social and political life of our country, in the scientific and educational environment. The productive scientific-pedagogical activity of the well-known chemical scientist was highly appreciated. She was awarded with the highest award of the independent Republic of Azerbaijan - the Order of Glory for her services to the development of education and science in Azerbaijan.
