A business meeting on "Towards Victory" was held within the framework of Turkish-Azerbaijani cooperation

On October 8, 2021, within the framework of Turkish-Azerbaijani cooperation, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs organized a business meeting on "Towards Victory" organized by the Public Union of Women Entrepreneurs.

The meeting was attended by women entrepreneurs operating in the Republic of Turkey and Azerbaijan. At the beginning of the meeting, Chairperson of the State Committee Bahar Muradova greeted the guests. She noted that the visit of a number of women known in the Republic of Turkey for their work, skills and achievements to Azerbaijan is a significant event, Muradova added that such a visit took place under the name "Towards Victory" and coincided with a very important period in Azerbaijan's life. B. Muradova added that the successes and achievements of each of you in your country are the successes of all women in the Turkic world.

The chairperson noted that, as at all stages of history, as well as during the 44-day war, Azerbaijani women, who faced difficulties, have a special place and signature in the achievements. "Our women have done everything necessary to win in their field. They raised patriotic children who were ready to shed blood for this land and sent them to defend the homeland. «We will take the necessary measures to further increase the benefits of this cooperation». We hope that our mutual visits will continue and that both sides will make decisions that will ensure the success of the agreements reached."

Speaking at the meeting, Zemfira Agayeva, chairwoman of the Azerbaijan Women Entrepreneurs Public Union, said that the purpose of the event was to encourage Turkish businessmen to invest in the Karabakh region within the platform of Azerbaijani and Turkish businessmen. Businessmen who came to our country on the eve of Victory Day are interested in investing in Azerbaijan. There is a need to work in various areas in Karabakh. For this purpose, businessmen from Turkey will provide services in the fields of textiles, health, education and various other areas.

Turkish businesswoman Canan Goztepe said that a visit to Karabakh will be organized with the participation of 20 Turkish businesswomen and will contribute to the development of the region.

Speaking later, Honored Art Worker Fakhriya Khalafova said that both the friendship and joint projects of women entrepreneurs of the two brotherly countries are very important for each of us.

Afterwards, the guests were informed about the areas of business in which they operate, as well as discussed future prospects for cooperation and other issues of mutual interest. In conclusion, the chairperson of the State Committee thanked the guests for being with us during the Victory Days, that this significant visit will be a start for the next working groups.
