An event entitled "Life without drugs" was organized on October 25, 2021 with the participation of teachers and students of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics as a continuation of awareness-raising activities in educational institutions in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs.

The event was opened by the Head of the UNEC Volunteers Orkhan Valiyev, who greeted the participants. Javahir Mammadova, Deputy head of the Faculty of Economics of the Turkic World, Nariman Khanahmedov, Lecturer of the University, Elkhan Salayev, Secretary of the Faculty of Business and Management spoke about the urgency of the issue and the importance of such events.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Head of the Family Problems Department Kamila Aliyeva spoke about the laws adopted by the government, state programs and projects to improve the welfare of the population, human health, the formation of young people and adolescents as a healthy generation. In her speech, K.Aliyeva informed about the harmful habits of one of the urgent problems of our society, especially the consequences of drug addiction and the work done by the Committee to eliminate these complications, the importance of strengthening the fight against drugs among young people.

Afterwards, narcologist Asif Kangarli and psychotherapist Aydan Khasmammadzadeh informed the participants about the destructive effects of drugs on the human body, the damage to society and human health and the social disasters they cause.

The participants had interactive conversations on the topic and were given educational booklets prepared by the Committee.
