The United Nations has designated June 26 as the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking to draw public attention to the problems associated with drug abuse. Thirty-five million people in the world use drugs and more than 18 to 25-year-olds are affected by them.

The  State Committee for Family, Women and Children Problems regularly conducts awareness-raising work on combating drugs.
As part of the activities, training sessions were held on the following topics: "Let's Say No to Drugs", "The Impact of Bad Habits on the Family", "Drugs or LIFE", "Combating Drugs in Society", "Healthy Lifestyle", "Impact of Bad Habits on Human Health", and also informative booklets were prepared and distributed among citizens.
It should be noted that society, along with government agencies, should be actively involved in the fight against drugs and illicit drug trafficking.
The support of parents is especially important to protect their children from such dangers, parents should conduct psychological conversations with their children and provide information about harmful habits.
We believe that our state's anti-drug policy and the measures taken by state agencies will contribute to strengthening the psychological and physical health of our young generation.
