Bahar Muradova met with children on the eve of June 15 - National Salvation Day

On June 11, 2021, the Chairperson of the Committee Bahar Muradova met with talented children and youth at the Shuvalan Child and Family Support Center operating under the State Committee for Family, Women and Children.

June 15 - The meeting dedicated to the National Salvation Day was held within the "Let's get to know each other" project of the Asian Fact News Agency. The aim of the project is to introduce talented children and youth to society, instill in them the spirit of patriotism and statehood, and develop the skills of independent self-expression.

The event was preceded by a meeting between children and veterans of the Patriotic War. The memories of our patriots, who set an example with their patriotism, were heard, and the souls of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our lands were honored.

Then the children got acquainted with the activities of the Center.

Welcoming the children, the Chairperson of the State Committee Bahar Muradova noted that such meetings are a great opportunity to get to know them better, to hear their thoughts and ideas in their own language. It was noted that necessary measures have been taken in our country today for the comprehensive development of children, protection of their best interests, and their upbringing in the spirit of national and spiritual values.

Noting that the policy of family, women and children, founded by national leader Heydar Aliyev, is successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, the chairman noted that the successful results of this policy are reflected in the legislation, government agencies and non-governmental organizations. . Noting that the Child and Family Support Centers under the Committee also play a role in this activity, Muradova said that support is provided here every day to eliminate the problems of families, women and children.

The veterans also expressed confidence that the children, who witnessed the great victory of Azerbaijan in the 44-day Patriotic War, will contribute to greater success and victories of our country by growing up as exemplary citizens and using their talents and skills.

The event continued with children's speeches on patriotism and an exhibition of their handicrafts.

At the end of the event, the Chairperson of the Committee awarded the children with special talents and achievements, congratulated them on the National Salvation Day and thanked them for their amazing speeches.
